Maternity Photos During Spring at the Morrison Trailhead near Red Rocks

I’m super excited to share today’s couple’s maternity photoshoot on the journal. This photogenic couple is expecting their first baby and wanted to get some portraits created to mark this special time in their lives. After one of the warmest winters with almost no snow at all, this past week we’ve actually been getting a decent amount of rain which is so needed but does put a bit of a wrench into photoshoot planning. We were almost ready to reschedule but since their lil baby is due so soon we decided to just move forward with the session and deal with the rain. It did start raining multiple different times but I think it created a really pretty moody environment for their photos. Plus their lighter colored outfits really helped them stand out against the dark background. We got a ton of cute photos but these ones are some of my personal favorites I wanted to share.
