Springtime Family Photos at South Mesa Trail Boulder

South Mesa Trail Family Photography During Spring

I am so excited to share this family on the journal today. Erica used to help me out at a lot of weddings and events I photographed back in the day but she’s since moved to Tennessee so I never get to see her anymore. But, her family got together here in Colorado about a week ago to celebrate her nephew’s high school graduation. They wanted to get some updated family photos while they were together so we headed over to South Mesa Trail in Boulder to get the pretty mountain backdrop with all of the fresh new spring greenery there. It was really looking nice that evening. We managed to create a bunch of beautiful photos at the South Mesa trailhead area but when we attempted to finish the evening with some sunset photos at the lookout, the wind had other ideas in store for us so we cut that part of the photoshoot short. I have a handful of some of my favorites to share with the world below.
