I really love to photograph in Steamboat Springs because every venue out there is just so beautiful. There are green rolling hills with miles of flowers across them and acres of beautiful full green trees that don’t looked diseased and scraggly like they do in other parts of Colorado. And the Aspens in Steamboat are some of the biggest I’ve seen.
Joanna & Patrick held their wedding ceremony in front of the lake at Catamount Ranch and their reception at the top of the Gondola at Steamboat Springs resort. A storm rolled in right before the ceremony was supposed to begin which delayed things for a bit but it was a beautiful (albeit windy) day from there on out. The clouds definitely provided a unique and stormy looking sunset for a few of the photos. Joanna & Patrick have lots of loving and fun friends who helped provide a nice laid back party atmosphere for the day.
