Summer Family Photography at Maroon Bells

Maroon Bells Aspen Colorado Family Photography

I was originally supposed to photograph this adorable family last summer but they ended up needing to reschedule their Colorado trip for 2026 instead so I got to meet them this year. The plan stayed the same though and I had them meet me at Maroon Bells since that’s my favorite place in the Aspen area to do family portraits. You do have to get a reservation to park up there but it’s so worth the extra hassle plus it’s a relief to know you’ll have a parking spot at this iconic location. On the day that we met, there was some intermittent rain that was interfering with our plans to create their portraits for them but this crew were good sports about waiting until it passed by before we finished up their photos. These are some of my favorites we created together that evening.
