Family Photos During Summer at Roxborough State Park in Colorado

I have a beautiful family session to share with the world today. In late August I had the pleasure of meeting this family with 3 kids at Roxborough State Park just southwest of the Denver metro area. I don’t normally get out there during summer so it was quite a treat to get to photograph them on such a beautiful evening there. I almost always see lots of deer enjoying life at this park and it’s not generally very crowded which is really nice for such a photogenic location. I like to walk in quite a bit with the families that I photograph here to get some of the more dramatic red rock views in their backdrops so it can be a little tiring for them, but very worth it to get photos like these in my opinion. Below are a few of my personal favorites we created for them on this peaceful summer evening.
