I drove up to the Breckenridge area last week to photograph this extended family who were all vacationing together and hosting a family reunion with the matriarch of their family. We started off the session pretty strong but then the weather started acting up a little with some wind and a few drops of rain which wasn’t a big deal except that it started to obscure the lovely mountain views. It was bugging me since I really try to get those in the shots for people who are visiting from out of state since it’s nice to have them in their portraits. We just kept chugging along though, changing up our angle and eventually we were rewarded with a very nice rainbow. After that the haze cleared up quite a bit and those gorgeous mountains came right back into view for us. Check out a handful of my favorites below!
