Yellow Wildflowers on Squaw Pass Road Family Session

Family Photography in a Beautiful Mountain Meadow of Colorado

All of the longtime journal readers out there will surely recognize my favorite Colorado mountain meadow up on Squaw Pass Road but I have to say that it was looking particularly pretty on this evening when I got to meet this sweet family. Maybe it’s because we’ve had so much rain this year but the flowers all just looked bigger and more plentiful and we finally got a bit of sun at their session. I love how it looks when it’s streaming in through the pretty aspens at this spot. This family was spending a few weeks in Colorado on a working trip for dad and I’m so glad they fit in this session while they were here so they can take these pretty photos and memories with them back to their home in Texas.
