Old School 50’s Theme Wedding in Colorado
I have the coolest 50’s theme wedding to share on the journal today. Bryn & Brian’s wedding on Saturday was such a unique mix of soft feminine style mixed with an open-concept warehouse space. Their attention to detail really helped make this one of the most stylish and distinctive weddings I’ve had the chance to photograph. Really, I loved everything about their wedding. Bryn’s beautiful dress with that amazing open back was really something special and then she paired it with the most gorgeous veil. Her mom put together the largest, most awesome 50’s theme wedding candy bar with a ton of old school flair. And it wasn’t just any candy bar, it was full of vintage brands of candy including candy cigarettes which I haven’t seen anywhere since I was a kid. They also had dozens and dozens of tiny little black typewriters to hold all of their escort cards. However, the thing that really made this 50’s theme wedding perfect was definitely the fact that they hired a real live Frank Sinatra impersonator who looked just like him! All night long he was singing classic songs and entertaining the guests with his Sinatra style antics. Really, I could go on and on about what a fabulous job they did with their decor and their theme, but we all know that this stuff is secondary to the wedding and the act of marriage itself. And they certainly did not disappoint in that department. Bryn’s heartfelt vows with the sweetest tremble in her voice could melt even the Grinch’s heart and Brian’s vow to provide her with handsome hispanic babies put a smile on everyone’s face.
Bryn & Brian,
Bravo on a real classy shindig! You two are perfect together. I also just realized that even your honeymoon (Vegas) fits in with your wedding. (I’m slow! haha) Enjoy both the pooltime and the great Canadian Outdoors too and we’ll all see you you again soon!

I love how unique Bryn’s dress is.
Bryn’s brother and his wife prepare for the ceremony
Bryn’s mom helps her with her lovely veil
So, I came across the ringbearer in this position before the wedding. I have no idea if he was pouting or if he was just visualizing his walk down the aisle but either way it’s pretty cute:)
Bryn’s beautiful bouquet (love the feathers!) was created by Newberry Brothers
Haha, I love this one:) Brian with Frank Sinatra
The rundown urban areas around Mile High Station make for some great groomsman portraits
Everyone watches as the bride emerges from the balcony
I love it when grooms smile big at their pretty brides when they walk down the aisle:)
What a cool place for a wedding!
What a good looking wedding party!
I love all of the soft pastel colors in this one
This one cracks me up so much. I love how mad he looks. Those damn fools in love right?!
Yummmmmm! I will definitely have to pick up some candy cigarettes from Lola’s.
The dramatic end to the flash mob dance:)
There’s Ol’ Blue Eyes himself:)
