My very first job of 2011 was  pretty awesome because it was a celebration of Mary who was celebrating her 90th birthday.  The party was held in the new mountain view glass pavilion at the Wellshire Inn Golf Course in Denver.  That space has gorgeous views and the fact that the entire course & mountains were covered in snow made it all the more beautiful on New Years Day.  I was there to photograph the family together but we stayed for dinner and captured some of the other entertainment from the night.  Mary is a good ol’ Irish gal like myself (except she really is….I just have an Irish name;)  and their family hired some irish dancers to come to the party and perform.  Those dancers sure can jump really high!  Another really cool thing I thought was the fact that the cake managed to make it’s way all the way from Montana completely intact. 

Happy Birthday Mary!  I hope that I make it to 90 and look half as good as you do!
