Alderfer Three Sister Park Family Photos in Evergreen Colorado

I have a really beautiful set of Alderfer Three Sisters Park family photos to share on the blog today. This is my third year in a row that I have had the pleasure of photographing this awesome family with two sons. We’ve been photographing them each summer at all of the prettiest locations along the Front Range near the Denver Metro area. The first year we beat out a storm over at South Valley Park. The second year we met up we went for a forested mountain view location over at the west side of Mount Falcon and this year their mom, Christine, said she was loving the look of Alderfer/Three Sisters Park up in Evergreen.

We met up there about an hour before sunset to capture some updated family portraits for them. We made sure to utilize the pretty field of tall grasses and the really cool rustic old barn that’s leftover from the days when this location was an isolated mountain homestead. The barn is over 150 years old and looks it’s age but I quite like it’s old historic look and find it full of charm. It makes for a very pretty background especially around sunset when the sky turns purple and pink! We didn’t have to go far from the parking area for these photos, but I did walk in toward the large rock mountain to the north of the barn and found a little grove of Aspen trees. I might have to keep those in mind for the next time I get to photograph at this location. As usual, it was really nice to hang out with this super nice family. Their youngest is full of energy and I love to hear about how his coin collection is going. Their oldest is thinking about changing schools this year and I hope it’s a really great move for him!
