I have been really excited for this past weekend for awhile now.  Everyone knows that Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is one of my favorite Denver area venues for a wedding.  (Did I already mention I’m getting married there myself next spring?  Oh, I did?  Like a million times now?  Sorry, I’m just excited!)  I’ve never had the chance to see what an Autumn wedding there is like though because of all of the weddings I’ve photographed at the barn have been in the summer.  So getting to photograph Mike & Emily there this weekend was quite the treat for me.  It snowed earlier in the week, but by Saturday the weather was actually pretty nice for this late in October.  Still, Emily & Julie from Bliss Elevated were smart and thought ahead by making sure the guests were provided with some cozy white blankets to cuddle under during the ceremony.  And I totally have to give a special shout out to Julie because she really worked hard behind the scenes to make sure that Mike & Emily’s lovely day went down as planned.  So much so, that when Mike & Emily realized they had forgotten their sign in thumbprint tree set up at their house in Denver, Julie was on it immediately and had her husband run over to get it for them.  Talk about customer service right?   It was ready and in place just in time for the guests to sign it at the reception.  So mad props to Julie for that little feat!
