Autumn Wedding at the Lodge & Spa at Breckenridge in Colorado

Just a couple of weeks ago I made may way up to the mountains to photograph Nicole & Brandon’s wedding at the Lodge and Spa at Breckenridge. The venue is located at the top of a hill above the town with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. And with all of the rain we got this year Nicole & Brandon were treated with an extra long autumn color season. It was so nice that it lasted long enough to make their wedding even more beautiful. We started off the day in a couple of nice cabin style houses that are adjacent to the Lodge where both Nicole and Brandon had room to spread out with their families right next door to each other. We made our way down the hill to get a couple of photos in town and then the ceremony took place on the large deck at the back of the lodge. Guests got an eyeful of wide blue sunny skies and snow capped mountain peaks. Needless to say, it was a gorgeous day with loving friends and family. And it was the 2nd wedding this year with a curious animal visitor. While I was photographing Nicole and Brandon at sunset, a cute little fox came over from the woods to say hello and sit in on a few photos.
