Blue and Yellow Outfits for Family Photos
I have some super cute family photos featuring an adorable family wearing blue and yellow outfits to share on the journal today. Man, oh man was this a brave family to attempt to get a nice family portrait of themselves enjoying Colorado’s great outdoors while here on a family vacation. Obviously they are brave due to the average age of these teeny adorable humans, but also because I advised a fairly late start time for people of such a young age. It’s so important to photograph portraits as close to sunset as possible for the beautiful light at that time of day. But I also understand that during summer that’s sometimes a risky prospect when it’s so close to bedtime.

Still, we went ahead and photographed these cute little munchkins past bedtime (aka the “Witching Hour”) and I have to say it was quite a success! Just look at those sweet little faces in the photos! This was totally worth the minimal amount of tears that may have happened in the process. Here’s hoping the few tearful memories fade away and they’re only left with these lovely smiling moments to remember their time here in Colorado! I am particularly in love with the one of grandma and grandpa surrounded by all of their grandchildren. That’s definitely a moment to be cherished forever. And their blue and yellow clothing looks so cheerful and matches nicely with this mountain setting!
