elcome to the journal for April O’Hare Photography! Here you’ll find all of my latest photographic outings with the couples, families, seniors and small businesses that I get to work with and make beautiful photographs for. You may also see a personal post here and there discussing my life or my travels with my teeny family of one husband and three cats! Sometimes I even write advice articles with tips to help make your photo experience better which you can check out under the “Educational” category.

Take your time and look around! Type in the place where you’ll be getting married in the search box to see if I’ve photographed there before. At the bottom of the page I’ve highlighted some of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past. Grab a drink and have fun going down the photo rabbit hole!

Breckenridge Wedding Photographer | Main Street Station & St. Mary’s Catholic Church

August 6, 2014

Stacy & Tony’s wedding from mid July in Breckenridge, Colorado is such a treat to share today because Stacy is a photographer herself and made sure to leave plenty of time in the schedule to get beautiful photographs around the town of Breckenridge. The house that she was staying at with her family had a huge field of pretty purple flowers and the house where Tony was getting ready had amazing views from the balcony of the mountain with it’s ski runs. Since Tony is from Breckenridge he knew a bunch of great places off the beaten path to go to and it was so much fun to create photos in all of the spectacular locations. They got married in the newer building of St. Mary’s since they needed the space for their guests, but they got to ring the old bell and leave out the front entrance of the cute old chapel right next door. And the views of the mountains from Main Street Station where the reception was held were absolutely gorgeous at sunset. It was a super fun day with lots of high jinks from Tony (wait until you see the cake picture!) and I think the two of them are going to have a lot of fun together in their future.

Definitely one of my favorites:)

Stacy wanted to incorporate a photo with her grandmother at her wedding. I love this idea.

Be sure to look at the WEDDINGS area of my site for more information about wedding photography.
