Summer Yearbook Photos at Castlewood Canyon State Park in Franktown CO
I’ve only been to Castlewood Canyon State Park one time before but it was awhile back on an extremely frigid winter day so I didn’t get to enjoy the scenery as much as I would have liked. I recently got to meet up with this really great high school senior who lives not too far away from the park in Parker for his high school senior yearbook photoshoot. I was really pleasantly surprised by how beautiful this place is when it’s not covered in ice and only 5 degrees out! He enjoys hiking and being outdoors a lot and comes to Castlewood quite a bit so it made a lot of sense to meet him and his parents here for the portraits. We started off on the west side of the park where there was a pretty nice waterfall. We ended over on the visitors center side of the park where we were able to get some gorgeous sunset sky photos overlooking the canyon and even a couple photos with the mountains off in the distance. Below are some of my favorites we created together that night.

Are you going to be a high school senior this coming school year? I’d love to help you get your yearbook portrait created somewhere beautiful too. Go ahead and take a look at the SENIORS page of my website and get in touch with me.
