Clear Creek Greenway Trail Family Photos in Colorado

Golden Family Photos at the Clear Creek Greenway Trail

I’m so happy to share this awesome family on the journal again. They have been coming to me once a year to get updated pictures of their family together and this year we decided to head over to Clear Creek Canyon to catch some photos next to the mountain stream. Originally we had talked about using the First Tunnel Walk area of Clear Creek, but CDOT is doing some work over there so we moved it a little further up the canyon to the Clear Creek Greenway Trail. This a popular spot for mountain climbers and we definitely saw some people rock climbing on the tall cliffs while we were creating these. I noticed that a storm was probably heading our way so we moved our session a little earlier so that we could squeeze it in before it started raining. I am so glad we did that because we were only there a little over an hour when the gigantic, fat raindrops started falling while we were still about a 10 min walk from our cars. We started running to our cars, but by the time we got there we were all absolutely drenched! I’m so glad we managed to get some good photos before we got rained out. Below are my favorites!
