The wedding I’m sharing on the blog today is a good old fashioned wedding that took place at the bride’s parents home in Boulder, Colorado. I say old fashioned not because of the styling or details or anything like that, but because it seemed like a wedding straight out of a movie back when people held their weddings at the family home in the backyard. Think something straight out of “Father of the Bride” complete with zany characters and amusing chaos. Don’t misunderstand me though, the bedlam was more charming than stressful and I had a ton of fun photographing it all. It was like a modern country fairytale and the family home was the perfect place to hold the reception. The family and Danielle Odil from Entwined Events did a phenomenal job preparing the property and creating every last rustic detail. It seemed like a dream come true wedding for Molly, a country girl at heart. She and Pete held their ceremony just down the road at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church where their family and friends filled every last pew. It threatened to rain all day, but it never turned into anything more serious than a sprinkle. I’m not sure the guests cared since it meant keeping cool when dancing. It was an epic party and based on the smile that didn’t leave Molly’s face all day, it was also the best day ever for her and Pete!

How gorgeous is this? Danielle Odil from Entwined Planning and Cheri from Southern Charm Weddings and Events did such a beautiful job with the wedding decor.

This is one of my favorites. I just love the every day feel of the bride and her dad putting some dishes away in the morning before she gets married.
