Kaycie and Greg are getting married next summer up in Estes Park but they wanted to get their engagement photos done now so they can create save the dates. They have a lot of family and friends who’ll be making the trip out to Colorado. They need to get their photos done sooner rather than later so we met up on a warm Sunday evening and just walked around the South Platte River area near REI and Confluence Park. Originally we wanted to photograph over at City Park but the Tour de Fat was going on that weekend so we changed locations. I really love this part of Denver since it melds both urban and wild overgrown open space looks together. And the top of the hill at Confluence Park is great near sunset for pretty downtown Denver views as well as getting a great wide open sunset sky. There are even a few grungy-ish alleys with some street art too. The best part of the session was definitely the way Kaycie and Greg fit together though. I love when you can tell a couple are both in love and best friends.
