Senior Pictures at City Park Denver Colorado in late summer
I met the coolest high school senior last week. This is Harrison, and I had a great time wandering around City Park with him at his senior portrait session last week. We started off over on the northwest side of the park to capture a photo with the beautiful historic pillars on that side of the park and then we made our way over to the museum side where most of my favorite things in the park are located. (Just a little note, if you’re like me and haven’t been going anywhere lately and decide you want to go for a visit to City Park, they have the streets inside the park closed off right now so plan accordingly!) In any case, we made use of the mature lilac bushes and greenery on the northeast side of the park as well catching the views over near the lake at sunset. (Another note, sunset is a little more deceptive these days with all of the haze making it a little more colorful earlier in the evening than it normally is.) Harrison is super easy to talk to and we chatted a bunch as we walked around the park. I found out he is interested in photography as well and he had some really awesome ideas for some of his pictures like capturing the cool colored lights from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science building (see the last shot!) and I also like his idea of getting one of the streetlamps in his Denver skyline photo. Check out some of my favorites from his session below!
