I am thrilled to get to share today’s photos with the world because they are for my very good friend, Sharon, aka “Crulie” who I met MANY years ago when playing roller derby together.  In our years together we’ve been fortunate enough to have traveled the world together and have developed a wonderful circle of friendships with a tight knit group of girlfriends.  Some of my former wedding couples may even recognize her since she is a sweetheart and helped me out at quite a few weddings throughout the years!  She’s one of the kindest yet one of the toughest women I know.  She’s incredibly hardworking and I’m so proud of her for taking the plunge and starting her own small business.  We’ve talked all about the ups and downs of being a small business owner but I know her independent spirit will be a great match for running her own business.

Crulie is a modern witch in the very best sense, and by that I mean that she is wise and knowledgeable in all plant based medicinal things.  It’s so far outside of my own knowledge and realm that I don’t quite have the words to exactly describe it, but from what I understand, her business, Sanctuary Plant Medicine will be a place where you can use her in-depth knowledge of plants and their medicinal properties to formulate your own regiments for leading a healthier life.  She’ll be selling loose leaf teas and topical salves with custom formulations while also providing herbal education and plant-based health and nutrition advice.  Once her new website is up and running I will for sure be updating this post so you can check it out. Good luck to this fabulous human on her new adventure of becoming a small business entrepreneur!
