Around 10 years ago I was toward the beginning of my career as a photographer and I was lucky enough to photograph a family with two incredibly cute young boys near their home on the west side of Denver. Time flies so fast because their oldest son is now 13 and held his Bar Mitzvah celebration over Thanksgiving weekend this year. The ceremony was held at the B’nai Chaim Synagogue in Morrison, Colorado. Saul did a wonderful job with his Hebrew and all eyes were on him throughout the entire ceremony. His family played various roles throughout the ceremony and after it was over they held a short reception with food at B’nai Chaim. We got a few portraits of Saul with his family and friends and reconvened later that afternoon for the more casual party at Dave & Busters in Denver. Guests enjoyed the taco bar, a photobooth, and some great tunes from the DJ there. They even managed to fit all of the guests into one huge circle horah dance and hoisted Saul up onto a chair in the air as is tradition in the Jewish community.
