Late Autumn Family Portraits on Squaw Pass Road in Colorado
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this extremely photogenic family a few times now and I can’t get over how much they’ve grown since the last time I photographed them. They were just little guys and now their two eldest are full on teenagers! I know it’s such a cliche talking about how fast kids grow up, but it continues to amaze me. In the past we’ve photographed in Evergreen before over at the Lake House and we’ve also done a pretty river location in Golden. This time I got to share my favorite location with them up at Squaw Pass Road. We met up well into October so the fall color was gone by then but late fall is still a beautiful time of year at this lovely little mountain meadow. I love the way their mom, Kellie, coordinated their outfits with the black and gray and tan. It perfectly went with the bark of the aspen tree trunks and the brown tones of late fall. It was a beautiful evening and we even managed to make it up the hill to capture some gorgeous blue mountain backdrop photos for them too. We got so many awesome photos of the 5 of them together this time. I managed to narrow it down to a handful of favorites below.
