Family Photos at C Lazy U Ranch
I have the cutest winter family photos at C Lazy U Ranch in Granby to share with the world today. It’s a busy time of year here in the mountains of Colorado. The week of Christmas through New Years Day has to be one of the busiest times all year for visitors to the state. Families flock to the winter wonderland of our Rocky Mountains to spend quality time with each other both in nature and in the cozy cabins that they rent out for the holidays.
Family Photography During Winter Holidays at Luxury Dude Ranch in Grand County, Colorado
Last week I photographed this adorable family who were doing just that at the C Lazy U Ranch up in Granby, Colorado. Colorado is home to many beautiful all inclusive resorts where you and your family can settle in for a week, kick back and enjoy all of the activities, food, and fun without having to coordinate the logistics yourself. And C Lazy U Ranch is one of the best places in the whole state for this. They’ve been in operation as a guest ranch since 1919 and is the premier luxury dude ranch in Grand County, Colorado!
The family featured on the journal today flew in to Denver and was able to take the train from Union Station up to Granby so they didn’t even need to worry about driving themselves up I-70 during the peak ski season. The ranch picked them up from the station and they spent a week getting to do tons of fun activities together like horseback riding, sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, cuddling by the fire and more!

They traveled here from Louisiana which is gorgeous in its own right but does not have the mountain views that we have here in Colorado. That’s why they decided they’d brave the cold for a little bit to capture their family with the lovely scenery around the ranch. I admit that I am a bit of a baby when it comes to cold weather and prefer the summer season in Colorado. But, even I have to admit that there is nothing prettier than a snow covered mountain. Check out the views of Indian Peaks Wilderness mountain backdrop we were able to get for this family!
