Georgetown Engagement Photos
I have the cutest little set of summer Georgetown engagement photos to share with the world today. I met Tara when she started skating for the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls back in the day. I was so excited for her when she met Ryan because it seemed like they fell in love so quickly and I’d never seen her so happy before! They’ve built a very good life for themselves together in Denver these past few years and have quite a big family with 4 dogs. They really wanted to bring all four of them to their session since they are such a big part of their life. Our furry friends are family afterall! They are getting married this September and it was time to get their engagement photos done. At first they were considering doing them in the city in a neat urban area but after a lot of thought they decided that they were really more into nature and the mountains.
Historic Colorado Mountain Town Engagement Pictures
So we headed up the I-70 corridor to the beautiful, very photogenic, and historic little city of Georgetown, Colorado. We started off near the dam and the lake before heading into town where we took full advantage of all of the old pretty storefronts and houses. Toward the end of the evening as the sun was setting we drove up Guanella Pass a little bit to find some more natural surroundings for their last photos. I absolutely love that we were able to get some classic Colorado photos for them next to the South Clear Creek mountain stream. Overall I’d say this session was a huge success! How could it not be with all of those sweet doggie faces?
