Denver Skyline Family Photos in Colorado
Back in 2014 I got to photograph Natasha and Cash’s wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens and ever since it’s been one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever had the change to photograph. In the years since they got married they bought a new home and made it beautiful and adopted dogs and I’m sure all kinds of life events have happened for them that I don’t even know about. But, today I get to share a session we created in part to celebrate Natasha’s graduation as well as the fact that her daughter is now pregnant so she’s going to be a grandma soon which is so exciting for their family! Originally we attempted to do a family portrait for them at this adorable cabin up in Idaho Springs. But when I arrived, the sky opened up and poured down on us so hard that I had to just abandon our attempt at creating photos. That’s when we decided to reschedule and do them in Denver. We started off near Gold Point in Rino to take advantage of some of the murals including one by Sandi Calistro who Natasha has a tattoo from before we headed over to my favorite little spot to catch the skyline at sunset. We definitely ended up with a way better session this time when we didn’t have buckets of rain drenching us. Below are just a small selection of some of my personal favorites.
