Granby Ski Resort Extended Family Photos

Winter Family Photos at Granby Ski Resort in Colorado

A couple days after Christmas, I had the opportunity to head up Berthoud pass to meet this lovely extended family here on a Christmas vacation together in Granby, Colorado. There is a cute little trailhead near Granby Ski Resort that I really like for sessions so I had them load up their large vans and meet me at the trailhead. They were planning to go night skiing at Granby Ski Resort while on vacation so I thought it might be fun to get the slopes in some of their backdrops. While we were there, the stormy weather moved in much more quickly than I was expecting and we lost some of the visibility pretty fast. Luckily, the resort backdrop stayed visible though so they still managed to get a mountain view in most of their family photos. I tried to work as fast as I could so they didn’t have to miserably stand out in the cold for too long. They were such troopers and I’m happy with what we were able to get for them on this chilly winter day!
