Fall Color Aspens for a Senior Photography Session at Guanella Pass
Originally I was planning to take this lovely young lady over to my fave fall color spot on Squaw Pass Road, but when I saw how dreary the color was looking there I had to ask them if they were willing to travel just a little bit further in order to find some better color. We decided to drive up to Georgetown to get the fall color on Guanella Pass. It was a little bit past the perfect prime color time, but still had a ton of color left and looked a million times better than my other spot this year so big props to this mama and her daughter for being flexible and willing to go where the color was at. The nice thing about it being a teensy bit past it’s prime was that it was not nearly as crowded as it usually is up there during leaf peeping season. Most people had moved on to find prime color in other locations on the evening that we went up. It was so great to actually have space to pull over and get all of these amazing photos for her! I had a super hard time narrowing them down but managed to stick with the ones below.

If you’re a senior this year and are still looking to get your senior photos done, be sure to check out the SENIORS page of my site and reach out. I might still have some availability to help before your yearbook photo is due!
