Day two of the three day wedding weekend brought me out to photograph the Steamboat gang again. This time it was Tara and Ben’s turn to host an awesome wedding complete with a dance party to end all dance parties. Seriously, there were scarves for flair and a kick ass local band called Loose Change which kept the party hopping. And the venue? I’m not a jealous person by nature, but I have to admit that I had a serious case of venue envy. The Heritage Cabin and barn was so picturesque. This place is going straight to the top my list of favorite places for a wedding in Colorado for sure.
But what good is a lovely wedding venue without cool people to fill it? I say it’s no good. Luckily that wasn’t even close to an issue for this crowd. I think you’ll be able to tell this much just by seeing the photos:) Oh and I have to give a huge shout out to Erica Stackhouse for helping me out and second shooting at this one! You might remember her as the bride from the punk rock pirate wedding earlier this summer.
Tara and Ben,
Your wedding was 100% a success in my opinion. You two are so obviously perfect for each other that it was a pleasure for me to photograph your day. Thank you!!!
Congratulations:)
April

How cute is this? Tara received some advice from some kids on what love is. My favorite is that it means you “put up with her attitude.” So true, so true;)
Alpine Floral did a lovely job with the flowers. Tara’s color scheme is awesome too!
Billy balls are so fun! I used them at my wedding too:)

Hee hee, this lil nugget of advice says “Never stop sending pictures of your poop!”
I love all of the expressions in this shot:)
Look who caught the bouquet two weeks in a row! Go Ashley!
