Pregnancy Portraits in a Beautiful Colorado Mountain Forest

I’ve been so excited to share today’s photos for this last week and finally just finished retouching the pictures I want to share on the journal. I met up with Chris & Caitlin last weekend at the West Mount Falcon trailhead up in the Indian Hills area of Colorado (near Evergreen). I was nervous about the crowds at first because there were cars lining the road up to the parking lots. I have never seen so many people there in my life! I think people are just trying to fit in some nice hikes and enjoy the last of the warm fall weather before winter arrives in full force. We did have to work around all of the people, but you can’t tell at all in the photos that we weren’t the only ones there.

This adorable couple is expecting their first baby this coming year. They wanted to get some maternity pictures created to celebrate this milestone in their lives. Caitlin had two gorgeous, form fitting dresses to wear which showed off her baby bump beautifully. And she must be part mountain goat because she was walking all over the jagged rock formations in her heeled boots like it was no problem at all. It was truly impressive and totally worth it for these gorgeous photos we were able to create for them with the mountain views in the backdrop. I had a really hard time narrowing it down this time and have lots of others I loved too, but below are the ones I managed to settle on. Check them out!
