Lakewood Colorado Bar Mitzvah Photography at a Southwest Denver Reform Judaism Congregation
Looking for a Lakewood Colorado Bar Mitzvah Photographer? Be sure to read through this post to find out more!
You may recognize this family because just a few years ago I had the pleasure of photographing their oldest son’s bar mitzvah at this very same temple located on the southwest side of the Denver Metro area. It’s incredible how fast the years go by and before you know it, it’s time for the second bar mitzvah celebration for this family. Seth celebrated his big day at B’Nai Chaim with his friends and family surrounding him with love.
Public Speaking and Learning Hebrew go Hand in Hand for a Bar Mitzvah
Seth’s bar mitzvah service was a smashing success. He sounded great and his brother, Saul, had everyone laughing when he tried to exit before his parts were completely over. We all laughed when he and his rabbi got a little mixed up on their insider cue of “When I touch your shoulder that means you go sit down.” I am always very impressed with how much Hebrew a bar mitzvah teenager must learn as well as the public speaking skills that are part of this ritual. Seth did a wonderful job with with both of these at his bar mitzvah.
An Outdoor Bar Mitzvah Party at B’Nai Chaim in Morrison, Colorado
Their family opted to host his party right there at B’Nai Chaim after the service was over. This bar mitzvah had an awesome backyard party feel. The family hired a Hawaiian shaved ice truck to come serve some delicious cold sweet treats where they could pick out which flavor of syrup to throw on top of their snow cone. They also set up a fun looking “Cliff Jump” inflatable climbing and jumping game for the kids to play around on. I saw a ton of impressive flips and stunts as they fell off the side of it onto the big squishy pillow landing. It looked like everyone was enjoying themselves at this relaxed afternoon party. Congratulations to Seth on this very important milestone in his life!
