Family Photos During November at Denver Botanic Gardens

I recently met this family for the first time to photograph them together at Denver Botanic Gardens in early November. I wasn’t too sure how much color would still be left that late in the season, especially since there had been a big snow not too many days before our session took place. But, I was pleasantly surprised that there was still a bit of color hanging on. Plus, there were some gorgeous tall feathery grasses that looked amazing. And there is always the option of using the indoor tropical garden area that always makes me happy to look through in the middle of the winter season. I had a ton of fun with this family and enjoyed that they were willing to play along with some of my silly prompts to get these cute photos of them together. I think we got a nice mix of candids with the more formal posed pictures. Check out some of my favorites below!
