One Year Old Birthday Portraits at Denver Botanic Gardens

First Birthday Photos with Family at Denver Botanic Gardens

There is a cuteness overload on the journal today because I get to share this super cute family’s photos with their son who just turned one year old. He is such an adorable little towhead and he gave me so many great smiles that evening. We met up at the Denver Botanic Gardens which I have to say, if you haven’t visited this year, you must head over there because it’s looking as good as I’ve ever seen it before. On the night we were there, it was threatening to rain so we were dealing with a lot of cloud cover and didn’t get to enjoy much of a sunset. But, I love what we were able to capture for this family despite the overcast skies. Their son was all about crawling and we had a blast chasing him around trying to catch him in a photo as he zoomed all over the sidewalks. I don’t know that I’ve seen a faster kiddo on all fours in my life and we definitely got a bit of a workout trying to capture him! Below are a handful of some of my favorites from this evening.
