Family Photography at Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park
I am having such a great summer, getting to meet so many different families while they enjoy their time here in Colorado. Today’s journal entry features one of these families. I was sure we’d be fine at their session and didn’t think we’d have to deal with any rain, but it turns out that we did end up having a bit of a sprinkle that evening that just did not seem to want to pass through very quickly which is what the rain usually does here in the mountains. Still, we ended up working through it and still ended up with these beautiful photos for them. We even managed to catch the rainbow before it disappeared by pulling over quickly and lighting them right off of the side of the road. We even got super lucky with some atmospheric mist decorating the backdrop of their mountain photo at the end. Seemed like something you might see more over in the Great Smoky Mountains instead of here in Rocky Mountain National Park so I was excited to capture that in these photos! As usual, I picked out a handful of my favorites to share with the world below.
