Rock Ledge Ranch Family Photos
I have such cute little Rock Ledge Ranch family photos taken in Colorado Springs to share on the journal today. Last week I got to meet the cutest family with the sweetest little 3 year old girl and her baby brother too. Their grandma who they affectionately call “Gigi” was in town visiting from Wisconsin and wanted to get some family pictures taken together while she was out visiting with them at their home in Colorado Springs. We decided to give Rock Ledge Ranch a go for our portrait location. I’ve only photographed near there on the outskirts where the American Mother’s Chapel is and never further in where all of the historic farm buildings are located.
Family pictures during winter in Colorado Springs
It was a ton of fun hanging out with them walking around, looking at the ducks chasing each other around the pond and creating these portraits together. We ended the session at sunset just outside of Garden of the Gods where there is a beautiful view of the stunning red rock formations stacked up in front of the pretty blue mountains. By the time sunset came the wind was howling pretty good and these poor kiddos were freezing so we finished up as quickly as we could. I think we got a lot of really cute pictures of the four of them together. Can’t wait to do it again when their daddy who is in the service comes home!
