Romantic Colorado Engagement Photography Session | Beaver Brook Watershed Trailhead in Evergreen

I have a beautiful, romantic Colorado engagement photography session to share on the journal today. Zach and Tess are recently engaged and are planning a destination wedding here in Colorado.  They’ve picked out the new Hotel Born in downtown Denver for their June wedding next summer. They were in town to have a meeting with their wedding planner at Hotel Born and decided they wanted to also get their engagement photos created while they were here.  I met them over at the Kimpton Hotel Born to take a look around with them. That’s where we captured that quick photos in front of the “there” wall before driving up to Evergreen to create their beautiful mountain meadow engagement photos.

Squaw Pass Road Mountain Views for Colorado Engagement Photos

The mountain meadow at the Beaver Brook Watershed Trailhead on Squaw Pass Road is my favorite location to photograph near the Denver metro area during the summer and fall seasons.  It has nice rustic fences, huge aspen tree groves, tall grasses in a large meadow with a cute little mountain backdrop too. The fall color is a teensy bit late this year so it had only begun to turn yellow a little bit on the weekend we went. We did find a pretty good swatch of yellow on another section of Squaw Pass Road so I was feeling pretty good about that.  After playing around in the meadow with all of the aspen trees for a little bit we made sure to capture the epic mountain views at sunset too. This location is perfect for a nice cuddly romantic Colorado engagement photography session in the mountains.  I had a very hard time narrowing them down so I decided to share a bunch this time.
