Romantic Gardens September Wedding at Denver Botanic Gardens

Wedding Ceremony in the Romantic Gardens at Denver Botanic Gardens

I’m so excited that I finally get to share this wedding I photographed at the end of September for Victoria & Ben. It was a beautiful, bright sunny day at the Denver Botanic Gardens on the day they held their wedding. We started off the coverage for their wedding by finding a quiet, out of the way spot in the shade for their first look. It was so great to witness how happy they were to see each other. After the first look we spent some time creating some portraits around the gardens and also made sure that their live wedding painter was able to get some sketches drawn out for her live painting that she worked on throughout the afternoon and evening. I’ve never seen that before and it was a really neat keepsake they got to keep from the day. Once we were finished with family portraits we moved right along into the wedding ceremony. The Denver Botanic Gardens have a ton of different areas that they use for hosting weddings and Victoria & Ben reserved the Romantic Gardens area to recite their vows as their loved ones cheered them on. After a few more romantic portraits alone, we moved over to the Sensory Garden for cocktail hour and then into Mitchell Hall for the remainder of the wedding reception. I was truly a beautiful, special day for these two kind people. I love that they got to spend it with so many of their favorite friends and family. It was hard for me to narrow down what to share but I think the photos below tell a pretty good story.
