Roxborough State Park Children’s Portraits

I have a handful of super cute Roxborough State Park Family Photos to share with the world on today’s journal entry. The kids in this family were so much fun to photograph. They were actually excited to do their photo shoot which is not always the case with children. We met up at Roxborough State Park and walked along some of the trails there. Roxborough State Park is an incredible place to create family photos. The scenery is full of the distinctive red rock formations that Colorado is known for. We managed to go on a beautiful summer evening and all of the green plants looked awesome against the red colors of the rock formations in this stunning state park. It’s located right next to the foothills in the southwest Denver metro area not too far from Chatfield State Park and Arrowhead Golf Club which also has similar dramatic red rock formations.

Shades of Blue and Teal for Sibling Pictures in Colorado

It was a beautiful children’s family session and they all looked perfectly put together in their blue and teal clothing. One really cute thing about these siblings is that they all genuinely liked each other and were being quite playful and having a great time hanging out together which really shines through in the pictures. I think their Roxborough State Park family photos came together so nicely on camera! We had a lot of fun walking along the trails, keeping our eyes peeled for deer and snakes, and enjoying the pretty light of the sun as it dipped behind the massive red slabs of rock in the park. I love this park because I think it’s a really great alternative to Red Rocks and allows you to avoid the crowds found there. It’s definitely worth the permit fee of $55 and the car entrance fee of $9 (be sure to check for updated prices).
