Denver High School Senior Photos | Santa Fe Arts District

Santa Fe Arts District Senior Photos

I have some fun, beautiful Santa Fe Arts District Senior Photos with lots of painted colorful street art and wall murals featured on the journal today. This was such a fun senior session for me to photograph. It was a really good time for me because it meant I got to hang out with Chloe’s mom Saucy O’Path (aka Suzi) who I met in derby and who makes my hair beautiful year after year. She works at Saucy Shears salon on 11th and Broadway at the old redeveloped Metlo Hotel building. You should call her if you need your hair done. At her workstation she always has an old photo of her daughter Chloe from when she was a kid. It’s crazy to me how fast she has grown up. She’s turned into such a beautiful young lady and this is her last year of high school. I love her style and attitude in these. She told me that she wanted to do her senior photos somewhere urban and cool with graffiti and art. Denver has a bunch of funky neighborhoods now that could fit that bill, but for me it was a no-brainer to head over to the Santa Fe Arts District. It’s sandwiched between the old Lincoln Park and Baker neighborhoods which are full of art galleries and different kinds of graffiti street art. We walked around the streets and alleyways finding interesting nooks and crannies to use for her pictures. Even the Maxfund animal shelter in the neighborhood has gotten in on the street art action. Check out their version of a hilarious grumpy cat painting on their wall in the sneak peek below!
