September Evergreen Wedding Photography
I am so excited that I finally finished up the retouching for this couple’s gorgeous wedding day up in Evergreen and can share some of my favorites on the journal. Aleis and Ryan got married at the Evergreen Lake House back in the first part of September. When we started planning out their ideas for capturing all of the portraits they wanted to get on their day we were talking about going somewhere pretty in the area to get a second location. I have to admit, at first I was a little bit nervous about whether we’d have time for all of the different combos we needed to get but once I realized they had planned for plenty of time to create these in, my worry about it turned into excitement since it meant we’d be able to get a variety of looks and backdrops in the pictures for them. In the end, we were able to squeeze in two different beautiful off site portrait locations in addition to the getting ready spaces and of course the actual wedding at the Lakehouse. We used West Mount Falcon Trailhead and the East Mount Falcon Trailhead which are two of my favorite portrait locations for their first look, wedding party, and family portraits. West Mount Falcon is awesome because it has some nice mountain views and pretty forest scenery as well as a lovely mountain meadow. And despite being just on the other side of the mountain, East Mount Falcon has a completely different look with more of a desert scrubland though it’s best known for having incredible views of Red Rocks Amphitheater which is it’s main draw. Big shout out to being blessed with a nice overcast day too since we normally would have been dealing with some crazy mid day lighting for all of these portraits and ended up getting that nice even light which is easier to work with for outdoor portraits.
