Colorado Spring Blossom Family Photos at City Park

Today I get to share the cutest family portrait session I did for this lovely family I met who were visiting Denver from Minnesota. They were hoping to get some family and couples photos for their 10 year wedding anniversary and I had suggested that we could meet up at City Park because I think it looks pretty great when the trees are blossoming during spring and because you can get a nice city view with the mountains there without having to make the trek west for better views. Sadly, we’ve been having a pretty rainy spring this year and on the day we were meeting up for their session, it was threatening to rain yet again. The dreary sky and rain clouds completely blocked the mountain views that are normally there. On the bright side, it was shockingly calm with very little wind and all of the spring plants looked really pretty all over the park. Their son is only 4 years old and he has the sweetest most fun personality! He had lots of really cute, genuine smiles during our photoshoot which really helped make this one of my favorites sessions I’ve had in a long time! I really had a hard time deciding which ones to share this time. Check out what I picked to share with the world below!
