Meadow Creek Trail + Sapphire Point Family Portraits During Autumn
I love when my clients come back to me and I get to see how much they’ve grown since the last time I saw them. A couple of years ago, I met this sweet little family with one daughter when we photographed them at one of Colorado’s favorite fall color locations up near Georgetown along Guanella Pass. It was a bit of a madhouse when we did their previous portraits and I feared this year could be much of the same with the crowds of people wanting to enjoy the golden colors of the aspen trees. But, this year we went to the Meadow Creek Trailhead in Frisco which has a nice amount of Aspen groves to work with right there at the trailhead and luckily, not a ton of people. We started off our session right there next to the fall color and then we ended it over at Sapphire Point where the fall color is more off in the distance but has better mountain views. I love to photograph this family because their daughter is the perfect mixture of sweet and spunky and really hams it up for the camera and me which makes me laugh. Below are some of my favorites from their session.
