Neon NBA Basketball Themed Bar Mitzvah Photography at Temple Emanuel and Columbine Country Club
It feels so wild to me that my nephew, Griff, is already 13 years old and just celebrated his bar mitzvah in February. I still remember meeting him at the hospital and getting to photograph his newborn photos at home. In fact, Facebook did that thing they do where they show you a photo from forever ago and remind you of your memories and showed this photo of Jenny, Me, and newborn baby Griff on Griff’s birthday this year. (Remember the Jersey Shore/JWoww hair stripes from back then? haha)
Since that day, his brother Cam and his sister Cici joined the family. They got to say some very sweet things to him at his party that Saturday night. I’ve been to quite a few mitzvahs by now since I get to photograph so many of them and Griff’s was one of the best I’ve been to! I know I’m biased, but I was blown away at how good he was up there with his Hebrew pronunciation. Griff is such a confident young man and extremely well spoken. He did an incredible job at the Temple and the whole family is very proud of him. Their family is all about sports and Griff plays many different ones and has a lot of his teammates as friends. His bar mitzvah party was a really cool neon-colored NBA basketball style club setting. I am so glad that his mom, Jenny asked me to photograph such a special day for them. It was an honor and I was really happy to get to be there. Below is just a very small selection of the many fun photos I was able to create with them that day. Check it out!
