Family Photos at War Memorial Rose Garden in Littleton Colorado

I’m so excited to share these family pictures from the War Memorial Rose Garden today. It’s that time of year when I get to share photos of my sister in law Jenny’s adorable family.  I know I am biased, but they are seriously so cute!  And this year they’ve upped their overall family charm by adding the spunkiest little furry friend to their family.  They have adopted a goldendoodle puppy named Nugget and he got to join them for their family picture this year as the newest family member.  They were looking for a nice garden location to go with their nice light blue and sparkly pink outfits.  It actually ended up being a taller order than normal since a lot of my go-to garden settings don’t allow dogs.   But, a little birdy told me about this incredible rose garden near downtown Littleton called the War Memorial Rose Garden and it ended up being perfect!

Sterne Park Family Photos in Littleton Colorado

The War Memorial Rose Garden is so well taken care of. Any gardener in the Denver metro area knows just what a struggle it is keeping roses alive these days with the infestation of Japanese beetles.  When I was there waiting for Jenny’s family to arrive, I talked to a woman who was out there capturing them with a cool little funnel contraption that I may just have to copy myself for my own home garden.  Right now I pick them off by hand but this thing seemed much easier to use. I was very impressed by how many nice large blooms were going strong here and it made for a beautiful setting for their family pictures this year.  We were also able to cross the street and walk around Sterne Park for some nice greenery photos too.
