West Highlands Maternity Photography in Denver

Winter Pregnancy Portraits at a West Highlands Maternity Photography Session in Denver

I have a super cute West Highlands Maternity photography session to share on the blog today. Remember Kristen & Sean? They got married last January at the Evans Chapel on the DU Campus and had their reception at the Brown Palace. (See their sneak peek here: http://www.apriloharephotography.com/?p=744 ) Kristen was obviously a gorgeous bride, but I think that she is an even more beautiful mama to be! We met up for her West Highlands maternity photography session today over in the West Highlands area of Denver around 32nd and Lowell and I couldn’t get over how awesome she looked. I doubt I’ll ever be pregnant myself, but if by some crazy turn of events I do end up expecting I hope I look half as good as she does!

We started off with a few photos at their home in the Highlands and then drove over to the commercial area on 32nd to take advantage of all the fun and colorful shops along that street. I love this area of Denver with all of its eclectic shops, restaurants, and other kinds of small businesses. It’s quite a bustling community. Surprisingly, I’ve actually never photographed there before and I can’t wait to go back for more:)

Thank you so much for being such naturals in front of the camera. You sure do make me look like a good photographer;) I can’t wait to meet the new addition to the family! I’m already getting excited about all of the cute newborn props we’ll use at the newborn session!
