Winter Steamboat Springs Family Photos in the Snow

I have such pretty winter Steamboat Springs family photos to share on the blog today. Over the weekend my husband and I headed up to the mountains to meet up with this nice family from Texas. We made our way through Kremmling and past Rabbit Ears Pass to make our way into the adorable ski town of Steamboat Springs. This family has been coming to Steamboat Springs for many years for vacations so it’s like a second home to them. This time they thought it would be nice to create some winter Steamboat Springs family photos together while they celebrated the holidays there. Their son is also recently engaged so we got some engagement photos for him and his fiance as well. They’ve visited so many times over the years that they really know the town well. This was great since they already had ideas in mind for where they wanted to go for the photos. We made sure to create some of their pretty snowy photos with the beautiful Yampa River and Steamboat Ski Resort in the backdrop. And we also made our way over to the iconic More Barn which is featured in lots of tourism posters for Steamboat Springs. It was a pretty cold day when we were photographing, but they hung on like troopers. Here’s a handful of my favorites out of what we got for them. Check it out below!
