Beautiful Summer Backyard Wedding in Steamboat Springs Colorado

I have the most beautiful backyard wedding in Steamboat Springs Colorado to share on the journal today.  Wedding season is in full swing and Friday marked my first mountain wedding of the season.  You probably remember Jen & Pascal from earlier in the year.  They did their engagement session down at Larimer Square and brought along their adorable pup Milo.  Well Milo is a big guy now and he was there to celebrate with his proud owners:)  The wedding ceremony took place at Jen’s parents’ house which has GORGEOUS views of the Yampa Valley.  This has to be one of the prettiest backyard wedding in Steamboat Springs Colorado ever!  Their farm property is so beautiful that all of their daughters have been married there.  You’ll see from the pictures that it would be crazy not to!  At this backyard wedding in Steamboat Springs, there was so much pretty property to use and so little time;)  That’s because it was summertime in the Rockies and we had a late rainstorm. 

Rainy Wedding Day in Steamboat Springs

It actually ended up halting the plans to ride up the mountain on the Gondola where the reception was to be held.  But the Steamboat Resort just shuttled everyone up instead.  And luckily it had calmed down enough by the end of the night that we were able to enjoy a Gondola ride with a beautiful night view.  And I really have to give a huge shout out to Jen & Pascal for being the most laid back and down to earth people.  They braved a pretty wet rainstorm at their reception in order to get some more pictures of the two of them alone.  They got a little wet, but here’s hoping that they think it was worth it after they see the photos:)

I’m so lucky that this is my job because it really makes me feel so good watching two people who are as in love as you two marry each other.  Watching you guys say your vows and just seeing how happy you looked on Friday made me super excited to get married myself.
