As much as I love getting the pretty snowy white outdoors of Colorado during winter sometimes the temperatures make it too much for families who will be bringing their little ones along. That’s when we make use of a back up option like the Boettcher Tropical Conservatory at Denver Botanic Gardens. It provides one of the only lush green spaces in the dead of winter in all of Colorado. I find it to be a nice balmy temperature but it can start to get a little swampy feeling once you’ve been in there for awhile. The family featured on the blog today wanted to get some updated family photos together. Part of their family traveled all the way from Alaska to come home and spend time in Denver over the holidays so I’m really happy we were able to capture these for them.
