Wendy & Phil have been planning their wedding for over a year now and on Saturday it all came together in a winter white wonderland on top of the mountain at Arapahoe Basin. I don’t think I’ve ever photographed such a snowy wedding before. Despite the chill, it turned out just beautifully and was the perfect backdrop for these two avid snowboarders. The guests got to ride up on the Black Mountain Express chairlift and then back down again at the end of the night. Have you ever ridden on a chairlift on a quiet snowy night? It’s really quite magical and was the perfect end to a perfect day!

The snow was really coming down as we tried to get formal pictures done! Normally you can see huge beautiful peaks in the background, but the snow was obscuring them.
