Lindsey and Jason’s wedding at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art was one of those weddings where everything came together so perfectly. When I arrived at the St. Julien Hotel where they were getting ready that morning it was pouring down rain so hard I didn’t even want to get out of my car to pay the meter. I was nervous that it would ruin their outdoor wedding ceremony on the lawn across the street at Boulder Creek later in the afternoon. But after the morning’s downpour the sun came out and we were able to spend time photographing in and around the hotel. Even the beautiful gardens at the Dushanbe Tea House next door to the art museum made a beautiful setting for their wedding photos. By the time the wedding ceremony came around the weather was perfect. Friends and family traveled from all over to attend the wedding and the setting was both beautiful with tons of natural light pouring in from the huge windows, nice modern exposed brick walls, and lots of interesting art to look at too. Jason and Lindsey really liked the broken record wall art and we made sure to get some photos with it as their backdrop. The rain picked back up again later and despite a very brief power failure the party never stopped. The breeze coming in from the big windows kept everyone nice and cool for dancing. It truly was a wedding day to remember!

WOW! Stunning bride and groom. I love how you captured all the special details throughout their wedding day. The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art looks like a perfect backdrop for a wedding reception.
