Denver Senior Yearbook Photography in an Aspen Tree Forest
This gorgeous fall color Denver senior yearbook photography session took place in the last week of September just as the fall color was really starting to get going at this popular mountain meadow not too far from Denver. Anthony was just a little guy the first time I ever photographed him at his mom’s wedding many years ago. This was back when my business was only in it’s 2nd year. I believe we determined that he must have been around 5 years old back then which of course makes me feel old knowing that he’s a senior now. Still, I just love to see my clients grow up and getting to capture some of it with my camera. I photographed his big sister’s senior pictures a few years ago and now I get to do his too! He’s planning to join the Marines once he graduates to start a career in the military. He’s such a nice and polite young man, I think he will do very well.
Senior Guy Portraits in the Mountains Near Denver
I’m so glad that we got to photograph him at this exciting time while he’s still living under his mama’s roof. There is so much excitement and looking forward to the future during senior year. I love to photograph teenagers at this age, right before they set off to make their own lives in this world. For Anthony’s session, we went with my current favorite location at the Squaw Pass Road mountain meadow. Usually by September 25th (when we did these pictures) it’s already pretty golden up there at the higher altitude, but this year our fall color was a little later than it normally is. So the color was just getting started with lots of yellows mixed in with light greens and the pop of dark evergreens mixed in really makes for some beautiful scenery. And of course, ending with the layered mountain views is always the cherry on top at this location. I’ve shared a handful of my favorites below!
